Meet interlüde
interlüde is all about giving you that much-deserved break! It is a space between life’s activities where you can unwind, recharge, explore new ideas, and meet new people. All in an inclusive, cozy, and anonymous atmosphere where honesty is key.
Online, but Human.
Our story
interlüde kicked off with a simple idea: bringing together a bunch of online strangers for a creative, fun workshop! The goal? To relax and enjoy building something together without the pressure of specific outcomes. It was all about exploring who we are, both individually and collectively, in a friendly, camera-off experience.
During our first-ever Darkroom workshop, each participant chose an animal to connect with or express themselves. Through voice prompts, we shared questions, stories, and even a little vulnerability. We laughed and bonded, all while alone at home.
As more “animals” joined our little experiences, we quickly went from strangers to a group, and later on to a community. Our online workshops blossomed into in-person gatherings, and as we shed our anonymity, those animal nicknames turned into cherished symbols of our journey together, which we still use to address each other.
Meet the people
Tired of the rat race, 🦄 (a.k.a. Marisa) set out to align her work with her passions.
Along the way, she discovered her superpower for turning strangers into a complicit crew by nurturing genuine connections and those sweet bonding moments. With a sprinkle of courage, she took a leap of faith.
Soon after, others joined her vision of a slow, inclusive space where we could just play silly human games and interact in unconventional ways, which led to the creation of the Interlüde Discord server.
Today, we’ve got a fantastic team tackling moderation, organization, and feedback. Huge shout-out to our wonderful collaborators who light up our journey, and a heartfelt thank you to Spooky Groove for the illustrations and Sofia Henriques for capturing our beautiful memories through her lens.
