Give German a chance and join us online for practice at the Sprachcafé, a language café.
We gather every Thursday at 21:00/9:00 PM, Berlin time (GMT+2) on Discord, and each week, we’ll share a fun topic and some handy tips to spark great conversations. In German, of course!
We’ll kick things off by pairing up in a camera-off setting to help everyone feel comfortable before the group expands. Our themes range from beginner to C1, and we create a warm, encouraging community where we can practice, learn, and uplift each other. Natives are super welcome too, since they can still have fun sharing stories and getting to know each other.
There are also other regular activities you might be interested in, such as reading sessions and game sessions. Just fill out a quick form, and you’ll get an invite to the community.
By the way, it’s free. But contributions are what keep us going.

Whether it's an online anonymous event or a Berlin gathering, you can meet new people in a calm setting and small convo. We provide engaging icebreakers, exercises, and games designed to help you feel comfortable. You’ll share stories and connect with the other participants. Think of it this way: we provide the space, but you are responsible for making it happen.
To join, you just need to be at least 18 years old and fill out a quick form before getting invited into the growing community. Here, you can choose to stay connected (or not!) with fellow participants and interlüde members.

Salad Bowl is where internal & external collaborators drop by to facilitate on a topic they know about.
With participatory exercises designed to prompt you to think and question, we co-design each workshop to dive deep into a chosen topic, immersing participants in a rabbit hole.
The format may vary greatly, so read the event description carefully before signing up. Generally speaking, we keep the sessions small to maintain tight group dynamics. To join the sessions, you will need to fill out a form and receive an invitation to the Discord community, where you can keep the conversation going.
