What happens during the sessions?

At the Salad Bowl workshop, we dive deeply into a specific topic with the support of a connoisseur.

After a brief introduction about the theme at hand and a soft warm-up, participants are invited to engage in practical exercises that will expose them directly to the topics underlying issue(s). Expect diverse approaches to the same problems, healthy discussions, and unexpected outcomes.

Get ready to let your biases shake, and come reflect with us in a safe place that values perspective variety and respect. The event is held mainly via audio, and cameras are turned off so you can focus on the session rather than how you look.

At the Salad Bowl, we create an experimental space where people can explore and expand their horizons by constantly stirring the bowl.

How can I join?

Salad Bowl is a mix of flavors, so each workshop is different, tailored to appeal to different tastes. The only rule is that you need to be 18 or older to participate. Besides that, you are welcome to choose your poison.

We’ve got you covered if you need help, but you need to come early.

Some participants like to stick around and keep the discussion going, while others disappear and never come back.

After the session, it’s up to you how you want to proceed.

  • Getting a ticket is super easy and varies a bit by workshop! Choose your event, and follow the steps in the description. Usually, you just need to fill out a quick form to join in on the fun and become part of our wonderful community.

  • All the details received are used for organizational purposes (e.g: invoices). We use your information only to send you updates about the workshop you signed up for.

  • Please cancel your ticket directly on the booking platform or via the contact form if you got your ticket via our store.

    Refunds are available up to two days before.

  • Please don’t! Especially in paid events. Our workshops rely heavily on the group dynamic and how participants perceive themselves and the others around them. By joining later, you create an unfair power imbalance that benefits no one.

  • interlüde aims to offer creative sessions for everyone. Please contact us if you are experiencing any challenges, and we will offer a reduced price.

  • Great question! Over Discord, we prioritize your safety with our friendly Community Guidelines, and keep moderation in place.

    In each session, everyone keeps their cameras off to ensure comfort, and you can always ask for help, including problems related to private messages from other members.

    While some members choose to connect in real life, we leave that decision and responsibility up to them. 🙂

  • In our sessions, it’s all about how you connect and share, not how you look! We love that anonymity lets everyone be open, real, and curious, making for a truly honest experience.

  • We chose Discord because they do not sell personal data and allows users to set their data preferences.

  • On interlüde different communities can interact with each other across a range of sizes (from small to large groups). Each community is associated with a specific workshop. Currently, we offer:

    → Sprachcafé: Every Thursday around 21:00/9 pm, Berlin GMT+1, we practice German in a relaxed way. The event is free, but donations are greatly appreciated.

    → Playground: A blind speed friending social workshop where people meet anonymously online and get to know each other in an unconventional way.

    → Darkroom: A creative camera-off experience for deep reflection and honest exchange, that will delve deeper into the shadows of the self.

    → Salad Bowl: (Coming soon!) With a mix of flavours, Salad Bowl is meant to bring specific and thematic online workshops for the international community. In this space, we will hold collaborations and in-depth online formats.
