What happens during the sessions?

Each Playground session is a small journey of connection. We begin with a brief check-in to shake off the day, make everyone comfy, and present. We then transition to interactive, relational exercises held in pairs. Think of it as a guided experience for speed friending.

Here, connection happens through get-to-know exercises that help you open up, share your world, and truly listen to others. The activities are designed to help you show who you really are, through simple words, sounds, imagination, or even laughter.

Slowly, the group grows, mixes, and remixes. But no worries, there’s no pressure to impress anyone, just the invitation to be genuine and present. At the end, you’ll feel a sense of lightness and maybe, who knows, a new friendship, a deeper connection, or the start of something new.

How can I join?

The Playground is open to anyone over 18 who is looking for new friends or connections. We currently offer this workshop in two modules: one meant for the Online community, and the other for Berlin & Brandenburg locals.
Let us know if you want to bring the Playground into your city! 😉

You’ll have the opportunity to meet new people without seeing them first. Expect unexpected connections with people with a variety of cultural backgrounds.

With engaging icebreakers, you’ll share stories and connect over audio on Discord and playful games. Here you’ll find a safe and respectful space.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Getting a ticket is super easy and varies a bit by workshop! Choose your event, and follow the steps in the description. Usually, you just need to fill out a quick form to join in on the fun and become part of our wonderful community.

  • All the details received are used for organizational purposes (e.g: invoices). We use your information only to send you updates about the workshop you signed up for.

  • Please cancel your ticket directly on the booking platform or via the contact form if you got your ticket via our store.

    Refunds are available up to two days before.

  • Please don’t! Especially in paid events. Our workshops rely heavily on the group dynamic and how participants perceive themselves and the others around them. By joining later, you create an unfair power imbalance that benefits no one.

  • interlüde aims to offer creative sessions for everyone. Please contact us if you are experiencing any challenges, and we will offer a reduced price.

  • Great question! Over Discord, we prioritize your safety with our friendly Community Guidelines, and keep moderation in place.

    In each session, everyone keeps their cameras off to ensure comfort, and you can always ask for help, including problems related to private messages from other members.

    While some members choose to connect in real life, we leave that decision and responsibility up to them. 🙂

  • Not really! Only if your kink is to meet online strangers in creative and relational human workshops. 🙃

  • In our sessions, it’s all about how you connect and share, not how you look! We love that anonymity lets everyone be open, real, and curious, making for a truly honest experience.

  • We chose Discord because they do not sell personal data and allows users to set their data preferences.

    You can also just follow this mobile or desktop flow and ask for help once you're settled in.

  • On interlüde different communities can interact with each other across a range of sizes (from small to large groups). Each community is associated with a specific workshop. Currently, we offer:

    → Sprachcafé: Every Thursday around 21:00/9 pm, Berlin GMT+1, we practice German in a relaxed way. The event is free, but donations are greatly appreciated.

    → Playground: A blind speed friending social workshop where people meet anonymously online and get to know each other in an unconventional way.

    → Darkroom: A creative camera-off experience for deep reflection and honest exchange, that will delve deeper into the shadows of the self.

    → Salad Bowl: (Coming soon!) With a mix of flavours, Salad Bowl is meant to bring specific and thematic online workshops for the international community. In this space, we will hold collaborations and in-depth online formats.
