Frequently Asked Questions
-
interlüde is a space for human connection. We create playful online and in-person experiences where you can slow down, recharge, and meet people beyond small talk, without the pressure to perform.
Think of it as a pause in your day… shared with kind strangers.
-
Everyone is welcome at interlüde! No need to be extroverted, experienced, or outgoing. Just bring a little curiosity and a willingness to show up as yourself. We celebrate all backgrounds, stories, and identities. Most participants are in their mid-20s to early 40s and based in Berlin, but you’ll meet people from all over, both online and in person. The only thing we ask is that you show up with respect and care for others, in line with our Community Guidelines.

interlüde is made up of different spaces, each with its own vibe:
☕ Sprachcafé: A relaxed weekly German practice (Thursdays, 21:00 Berlin time). Free to join, contributions are welcome.
🥗 Salad Bowl: Thematic workshops and collaborations for mixing ideas and perspectives.
🎠 Playground: Social experiences, online and local, where you meet others in unexpected ways.🌒 Darkroom: A camera-off space for deeper reflection and honesty, exploring the “less visible” parts of ourselves.

You’re not alone! Most people feel that way at first. Our sessions start gently, often in small groups, with guidance and plenty of space to arrive just as you are. There’s never pressure to perform: come as yourself, and go at your own pace. Respect for your boundaries and comfort is always at the heart of what we do.
-
Often, yes! 🙂 We don’t force outcomes, but rather focus on creating the right conditions: openness, curiosity, and a bit of shared vulnerability. Friendships and real connections tend to grow naturally from there.
