What is it?

Playground is a fun human experience, where strangers meet for activities and creative exercises. An event where you can get to know others through ideas, interactions, and befriend them in a sometimes silly way.

We’re excited to invite you to our Walk & Talk session on Sunday, 28 June at 10:00 around Tiergarten, Berlin.

We will gather 15 people around the Brandenburg Gate and walk through the park, while getting to know each other. At the end, we will take a rest at a café so we can share a moment all together.

Fill in your favorite water bottle, and come join us! 🌳

How does it work?

In this session, we will mingle as we take a walk in the park. We start with a short introduction and an icebreaker after participants are given interesting questions to ask one another. Because curious but shy people should be comfortable too! After that, it’s up to you and your energy!

We will gather at 09:45, and start at 10:05 sharp. To find the precise meeting point, you'll need to join our Discord server and be added to a specific channel where we will share all the details. Later, you can use the channel to stay in touch with the group and organize additional gatherings.

Make sure to wear comfortable clothes and shoes, and bring whatever you need to feel comfortable. At the end, we will get coffee and cake. Remember to bring some money for that, too!

How much is it?

Our sessions are built with care, presence, and intention. To keep our gatherings accessible while sustaining the energy behind them, we use a flexible contribution model. You can choose what feels right for you, and contribute what you can.

How to join?

🙋🏻‍♀️ 1. When booking, you’ll answer a few simple questions to help us organize the session. All collected information is used solely for organizational purposes during the session.

💌 2. After booking:
→ If you are a new member, you’ll get a confirmation email with your Discord invitation link. Make sure you join as the exact location will be shared over there.
→ If you are coming from the Discord community, simply wait. You will soon be added to the channel workshop.

🗓️ 3. Before the session begins, you’ll receive a reminder with final details, such as the location. Please be on time. Late entries disrupt the magic. ✨

💫 4. After the workshop, it’s up to you how you continue. Often, the group ends up planning other activities together, but as always, it is totally up to you.

Please note that to attend this workshop:
👉 You need to be at least 18 years old and live in the Berlin or Brandenburg area.
👉 Be inclusive and open to different backgrounds, identities, cultures, and experiences. You’ll have to agree to our
Community Guidelines to join.
👉 Be genuinely curious about meeting new humans. The session is facilitated, but you are the one who has to make it happen.

Reviews

What our participants say about us.

“For someone who has a dead social life, me, that session was wildly successful.”

Sam, based in Berlin

“Honestly, it was a lot of fun! At first, it felt a bit weird and overwhelming since it was my first time. But once the games and break rooms started, it got really fun.”
