What happens during the sessions?

Darkroom invites you to engage in a slow conversation, in the dark, where unexpected creative exercises foster intimate, real connections.

We begin slowly with a soft arrival, giving space to breathe and land. From there, we move through creative and relational games that invite curiosity and openness. You might share fragments of a story, draw, or respond to a prompt that stirs memories of personal experiences. Your shadows are safe in this place.

The exercises are playful but grounded, weaving imagination, emotion, and connection in unexpected ways. The group is intentionally small, so you can show up more honestly, and sometimes, even more fully.

At interlüde, we create spaces that remind people how to connect deeply, playfully, and humanly.

How can I join?

Darkroom welcomes anyone 18+ who’s seeking connection beyond appearances. Each workshop is different, so you are welcome to return at any point.
We currently offer this workshop in two modules: one meant for Online Friends, and the other for Berlin & Brandenburg locals. Let us know If you want to bring the Playground into your city! 😉

The workshop is meant for introverts, deep thinkers, and anyone who prefers the honesty of real conversation over the noise of small talk, but we appreciate everyone who wants to join.

At location-based events, we normally gather IRL after the session.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Getting a ticket is super easy and varies a bit by workshop! Choose your event, and follow the steps in the description. Usually, you just need to fill out a quick form to join in on the fun and become part of our wonderful community.

  • All the details received are used for organizational purposes (e.g: invoices). We use your information only to send you updates about the workshop you signed up for.

  • Please cancel your ticket directly on the booking platform or via the contact form if you got your ticket via our store.

    Refunds are available up to two days before.

  • Please don’t! Especially in paid events. Our workshops rely heavily on the group dynamic and how participants perceive themselves and the others around them. By joining later, you create an unfair power imbalance that benefits no one.

  • interlüde aims to offer creative sessions for everyone. Please contact us if you are experiencing any challenges, and we will offer a reduced price.

  • Great question! Over Discord, we prioritize your safety with our friendly Community Guidelines, and keep moderation in place.

    In each session, everyone keeps their cameras off to ensure comfort, and you can always ask for help, including problems related to private messages from other members.

    While some members choose to connect in real life, we leave that decision and responsibility up to them. 🙂

  • Not really! Only if your kink is to meet online strangers in creative and relational human workshops. 🙃

  • In our sessions, it’s all about how you connect and share, not how you look! We love that anonymity lets everyone be open, real, and curious, making for a truly honest experience.

  • We chose Discord because they do not sell personal data and allows users to set their data preferences.

    You can also just follow this mobile or desktop flow and ask for help once you're settled in.

  • On interlüde different communities can interact with each other across a range of sizes (from small to large groups). Each community is associated with a specific workshop. Currently, we offer:

    → Sprachcafé: Every Thursday around 21:00/9 pm, Berlin GMT+1, we practice German in a relaxed way. The event is free, but donations are greatly appreciated.

    → Playground: A blind speed friending social workshop where people meet anonymously online and get to know each other in an unconventional way.

    → Darkroom: A creative camera-off experience for deep reflection and honest exchange, that will delve deeper into the shadows of the self.

    → Salad Bowl: (Coming soon!) With a mix of flavours, Salad Bowl is meant to bring specific and thematic online workshops for the international community. In this space, we will hold collaborations and in-depth online formats.
